I'm the keeper of an old farmhouse and seeker of old beautiful things to fill her (and then some, lol) Often someone asks just how all this came to be. So for the curious, the lovers of all things old, those who share my triumphs and tragedies and those thinking of loving an ancient old house I've started to put all it all to word and picture here. Welcome!

On A Cool & Rainy Monday
On this cool and rainy Monday I treated myself
to catching up on blog reading (so enjoyed)
and editing some quasi-recent images to share.
Some hither and thither views from around
the 'old girl' that I hope you'll enjoy!
Spring = PROJECTS so there'll be much more
to share in the coming weeks (amid my advil
groans :-)
PS there are images of more clapboard scraping
pre-painting too ~ but they're far from lovely to
view lol so I spared you those!
Happy rain-filled-Monday from me to you....

Always love the pretty images from your lovely lady! Warm Blessings!~Amy
Hello My Dearest Issy - Remember me? I know well you do; perhaps the question is, am I still welcome here? And, somehow, I know the answer to that question equally well....I have so appreciated your messages that find me when I seem to need them the most - much like spring finds us when we need being found the most.....I hope you are reveling in the respite that a cool, rainy, day can provide....Here in Nod, we have emerged momentarily from the onslaught of the monsoon season, and it is sunny and bright....but sometimes, I welcome the grey as much as the sun herself.... I see you have posted some beautiful photos of late....but those of your April snow are disheartening - despite the juxtapositional (ha! I must have made up yet another word as spell check isn't liking it) beauty. Hope all is well - and thank you....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
We so needed the rain of the last couple weeks, so I hate to complain too much about it. It gives me a chance to create and catch up on inside things. Love your pretty pics and look forward to hearing more about all your Spring projects.
Hugs and blessings
Thank you Amy! It pleases me beyond measure to know my images are enjoyed :-) Ever amazing it is to me to be able to share little bits of my world with you and know they add something to your day! You've made my day by telling me :-)
Warmest thoughts to you!

Robin you know (you know!) how happily welcomed you are!!!
Indeed, showers and cool are calming and renewing for both nature and soul... Times chosen for us by mother nature to be a bit less frenetic and be instead introspect~ic (now we have DUAL QUESTIONABLE words, lol (I myslelf intend to assimilate juxtapositional into my lexicon, dictionary and spell check be damned)! :-) Sad indeed about pinkie but glad tidings are that she is renwing well so that lessens the sadness of her injury. Darn Spring snow :-(
Be well dear & TTYWTA
