Ain't it the truth?

Again and again I am reminded
of one of the simple complexities
that is the key to living life well:

"Some luck lies
 in not getting
what you thought you wanted
but getting what you have,
which once you have got it
you may be smart enough to see
is what you would have wanted
had you known".
Garrison Keillor

OR

As the Rolling Stones lyrics wisely mention  :-)

'You can't always get what you want,
no, you can't always get what you want
but if you try sometimes
 you just might find,
you get what you need'

Absolutely - there is a huge difference between want and need as half of the world knows only too well.

Yeah. Remembering the difference between want and need is important. We all NEED a whole lot less than we want, most of the time. Stay warm.

I'm impressed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that's equally educative
and entertaining, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I came across this in my hunt for something concerning this.
